Event Name Euro-Med Conference: Plant Natural Products from Biodiversity to Bioindustry
Event Description The big success of the First Euro-Med Conference on "Natural Products from Biodiversity to Bioindustry" (BioNat-1) held in Cairo-Egypt 2009, strongly inspires us to organize the second one BioNat-2.

BioNat-2 aims to bring the scientists to point out the state of art on natural products (secondary metabolites and natural products including bacteriocins, vitamins, carotenoids and flavonoids, anti-nutrients, toxins, metabolic network and metabolomics). Attention is also devoted to the traditional and non-traditional utilization of medicinal plants, phytopharmaceuticals, as well as synthetic drugs.

This gathering will also provide a tool to establish interdisciplinary network between Egyptian and the international scientists in order to inspire and provoke crucial discussions and debates in the field. The events will bring together scientists, technologists, policy makers and graduate students across the globe to promote exchange and discussion of issues relating to the theme and sub-themes. The conference program includes keynote talks, oral presentations and poster sessions. In addition to invited presentations, the conference will have a session of oral presentations selected from submitted abstracts.
